Limited Workmanship Warranty
We confidently stand behind the workmanship associated with covered mobile mechanic services and offer a Limited Workmanship Warranty.
This warranty is exclusively for the original service recipient and is not transferable to subsequent vehicle owners. Covered workmanship is guaranteed for 7 days from the date the service is completed.
If an issue arises within the 7-day warranty period and is confirmed to have resulted directly from the workmanship of the original service, corrective labor will be addressed under this Limited Workmanship Warranty at no additional labor charge.
This warranty applies strictly to workmanship. It does not cover the condition, quality, compatibility, performance, or failure of any part or material.
Diagnostic Services
Diagnostic services are based on the vehicle’s condition, reported symptoms, testing, and information available at the time of service. Automotive diagnosis can be progressive, so an initial finding or recommended next step may not identify every underlying issue or guarantee that one repair will resolve all symptoms.
Additional faults, wiring issues, previous repairs, or intermittent conditions may require further testing. The diagnostic fee covers the time, inspection, testing, research, and professional assessment performed during the appointment.
If a recommended repair does not resolve the concern, the customer should contact us promptly so we can notify the mechanic and allow a reasonable opportunity to review the findings and determine the next step before another mechanic or repair facility works on or alters the same system. Once another mechanic has inspected, worked on, or altered the same system, it may no longer be possible to continue the diagnostic process or verify the vehicle in the same condition it was in during the original inspection.
Customer-Supplied Parts
Customers are responsible for providing the correct parts when parts are needed for a scheduled repair.
Customer-supplied parts are not covered under this Limited Workmanship Warranty. The customer is responsible for confirming that all parts are correct for the vehicle, compatible, complete, undamaged, and suitable for installation.
If a customer-supplied part is defective, incorrect, damaged, incomplete, or incompatible with the vehicle, any additional diagnostic work, removal, reinstallation, or repair may result in additional charges.
The workmanship associated with the original installation remains covered for the applicable 7-day workmanship warranty period.
Used Parts
If a customer chooses to provide a used, salvaged, remanufactured, or previously installed part, the part itself is not covered under this Limited Workmanship Warranty.
Any failure caused by the condition, quality, wear, compatibility, or internal failure of a used part is the customer's responsibility.
The workmanship associated with installing the part remains covered only for the original 7-day workmanship warranty period.
Component Fragility and Liability Policy
Automotive components can become brittle, corroded, seized, weakened, or damaged because of age, heat, moisture, previous repairs, environmental exposure, or normal wear and tear.
Plastics, wiring, connectors, spark plugs, fasteners, metal components, rubber parts, hoses, clips, and similar materials may break, crack, strip, or fail without warning even when reasonable care is used during the repair process.
This is especially common with components that have been exposed to excessive heat, sunlight, fluids, corrosion, previous damage, or long-term deterioration.
Breakage or failure caused by a pre-existing condition, deterioration, corrosion, previous damage, or the inherent fragility of a component is not considered defective workmanship under this Limited Workmanship Warranty.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or problems resulting from accidents, collisions, abuse, misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, overheating, continued vehicle operation after a known problem or warning, defective parts, incorrect parts, unrelated mechanical failures, modifications, or repairs performed by another person or repair facility.
It also does not cover a new or unrelated vehicle problem that develops after the original service.
No warranty is provided for the condition, performance, or lifespan of customer-supplied parts.
Defects During the Limited Workmanship Warranty
If a customer believes there is a workmanship-related issue within the warranty period, the concern should be reported promptly with the vehicle information, original service information, proof of service, and a description of the problem.
Warranty claims and supporting information should be emailed to support@mobilemechanic-pro.com. Please include the vehicle year, make and model, date of service, a description of the issue, and any relevant photos or videos.
An inspection may be required to determine whether the concern is related to the workmanship of the original service.
If the inspection confirms that the problem resulted directly from covered workmanship, corrective labor will be arranged at no additional labor charge.
If the inspection determines that the issue is caused by a defective or incorrect part, an unrelated vehicle problem, normal wear, a pre-existing condition, or something outside the original service, additional diagnostic, travel, or repair charges may apply.
Any additional service requested at the same time as a warranty inspection will be charged separately.
Repairs Performed by Someone Else
The original diagnostic findings or completed service must be given a reasonable opportunity for review or inspection before the customer performs corrective work or authorizes another mechanic or repair facility to work on or alter the system related to the concern.
The Limited Workmanship Warranty may be voided if the customer performs their own repair or authorizes another party to alter, repair, remove, replace, disconnect, reconnect, program, or otherwise modify related components before the review is completed.
The warranty may also be voided if recommendations intended to protect the completed repair or preserve the vehicle’s condition for inspection are disregarded.
Warranty Period
Corrective action performed under this warranty does not restart, renew, or extend the original warranty period.
The warranty period continues to run from the date the original covered service was completed.
Refunds
Payments for completed diagnostic services, labor, travel, inspections, and repair services are final.
Concerns regarding diagnostic findings or workmanship should be handled through the warranty inspection and corrective-service process. We reserve the right to review service records, technician findings, photographs, scan results, testing information, and other relevant documentation.
Refunds are not provided simply because additional diagnostic work becomes necessary, a recommended repair does not fully resolve the concern, another problem is later identified, another mechanic reaches a different conclusion, a customer-supplied part fails, the vehicle later develops another problem, or additional repairs become necessary.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
There is a zero-tolerance policy for threats, harassment, intimidation, abusive language, yelling, cursing directed at personnel, or behavior that creates an unsafe or hostile environment.
If this occurs, work may be stopped immediately and the service location may be left.
Serious threats, violence, harassment, defamation, or other unlawful conduct may result in law-enforcement involvement, termination of future services, and blocking of future service requests or communications.
Professional and respectful communication is expected throughout all service and warranty interactions.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information, disclosing known problems or previous repairs, providing the correct parts when parts are required, and making the vehicle reasonably accessible for the scheduled service.
Additional labor resulting from incorrect, incomplete, damaged, or incompatible customer-supplied parts is not covered by the Limited Workmanship Warranty.
