Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Mobile Mechanic Pro website or requesting service. By accessing the website, submitting a service request, scheduling an appointment, or using services arranged through Mobile Mechanic Pro, you agree to these Terms.
Independent Service Providers
Mechanics performing services through Mobile Mechanic Pro operate as independent service providers and are not employees of Mobile Mechanic Pro. The assigned mechanic is responsible for evaluating the vehicle and performing the approved automotive service at the customer’s location.
Additional information about this relationship is available on our Disclosure page.
Service Requests & Appointments
Submitting a service request or selecting a preferred date and time does not automatically confirm an appointment. Appointment details are confirmed after the service information, scheduling details, and mechanic availability are established.
Appointment timing may be affected by travel, previous jobs, weather, vehicle access, and changes in the actual work required after the vehicle is inspected.
Customers should select appointment dates and times they reasonably expect to keep. Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may affect future scheduling availability.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding the vehicle, service location, symptoms, known damage, recent repairs, and requested service.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle can be accessed at the scheduled location and that automotive work is permitted by the property owner, business, apartment community, parking facility, or other person controlling the location.
Customers must disclose conditions that could materially affect the work, including known mechanical damage, missing components, modified systems, previously disassembled parts, or unsafe vehicle conditions.
Diagnostics & Repair Authorization
Vehicle symptoms may have multiple possible causes. A diagnostic trouble code, customer description, prior repair recommendation, suspected failed part, or initial diagnostic finding does not by itself guarantee the complete cause of a vehicle problem or that one repair will resolve all symptoms.
Automotive diagnosis may be progressive, and additional testing may be recommended before or after an initial repair recommendation. Repairs, additional labor, parts, or changes to the requested work should be approved before the additional work is performed.
Customers remain responsible for deciding whether to authorize recommended repairs after the findings and available next steps are communicated.
If a recommended repair does not resolve the concern, the customer should contact Mobile Mechanic Pro promptly and allow a reasonable opportunity for review before another mechanic or repair facility works on or alters the same system.
Customer-Supplied Parts
When a customer chooses to supply a part, the customer is responsible for the accuracy, compatibility, quality, completeness, and condition of that part.
If a customer-supplied part is incorrect, defective, incomplete, damaged, or incompatible with the vehicle, additional diagnosis, labor, travel, removal, installation, or a return visit may require separate approval and additional charges.
Payments & Card Authorizations
Some requests may require a valid payment method or temporary card authorization before an appointment is confirmed. A temporary card authorization is a hold and is not the same as a completed charge.
Customers agree to pay the approved charges associated with services performed, additional approved work, and any other amounts clearly communicated and accepted as part of the service.
Payment processing may be handled through third-party payment providers and may be subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.
Payments for completed diagnostic services, labor, travel, inspections, and repair services are subject to the applicable refund and warranty terms stated in our current Warranty policy.
